but i like that building, its a nice looking box, & its still new..

they wont get rid of that building it aint old and one of the nicer buildings around the mosque, any info on those proposed buildings to be behind braj al bait?

It is approved and the site is being prepared. They need to finish Abraj Albait first within the next few months before starting with Rawabi Abraj Albait, because they deliver all meterials and equipment for Abraj Albait through that area.This was posted before. (you can check the area on google earth)

Those buildings behind are too dense (packed too close together).
Also there is not enough variety in their designs. (nice height though)

The Abraj Al-Bait is coming along great, personally I like this monster, but
I still feel the spire section is not in proportion to the main tower.
It is to tall.

The two huge supertalls behind the main tower shown in the images on the previous page will make the spire section of the main tower seem more proportionate, it only seems so disproportionate now because the main tower is almost standing alone in comparison to the buildings surrounding it.
