There's no chance for such a "Christmas present", as completion is planned for 2011. But that doen't matter much: in Mecca, the 25th December is no public holiday anyway.

'Asyiqul^huur, can you take pictures of the road that goes through the building? i remember someone complaining about not seeing it in the pictures.

i have seen that road when i was there but forgot to picture it.

that road is just below this part

A tabloid brought an article and a photo session about the building and its clock in one of its recent online editions. Two of the photos show an interesting angle and might be worth to be linked here although they are not up-to-date (source www.spiegel.de)
