These megabuildings seem so futuristic at first sight but then remind you of the times you are living in. My iphone is smarter than a 1990 Cray supercomputer. Sheesh!

no hint whatsoever of an arabic inspired architecture of this new megaproject..what a waste. of a design..

Well for me too, this new projet(Rawabi Abraj al Bait) with many towers(what ever design) close together looks like NY.
I don't like it for Makkah at all!

This building is so ugly, almost anything would be an improvement - earthquake, volcanic eruption, asteroid impact...
