Yes, that's brilliant, Roukaya19!

Photo must be from previous weekend, I suppose. In Europe, we don't have that moon position with the crescent facing right downwards.

Do you have another picture from that evening? A pic done later, with the moon connected to Abraj Al-Bait's top would be perfect... maybe taken from double distance with zoom, so that that the "substitute" would have the right size.

Ryugyong Hotel

Is it ill will or ignorance Aswali? Why do you post an outdated, irrelevant shot of Ryugyong Hotel when it is well known that currently, the building looks totally different to what you try to imply it does. Here is how it looked in April 2011. It is quite a shame that some people want to manipulate reality in order to prove their point!

Brillant woooooo Thanks

Sorry I don't have moon pic connected with Abraj Al-Bait's top. That would be nice and special! We have to ask our great photographer 'asyiqul^huur to fix the moon on the spire (sorry I'm not in Makkah to take pics)

I would like to know exactly... since when the ''Little Makkah Clock Tower'' in front of Abraj Al Bait is there?

It's an old pic but it shows well that the little clock is just in front.

And this one must be an other one

So since when its there?

we can see the two on this pic

Thanks both for answering me.The King Fahad extension was betheen 1982-1988. So we can say the little clocks towers appeared about at the end of the 80's.

And the height, can we say it's about 15 meters, less or more?

Agreed. It was just mentioned in context of people including it when pointing to a blend of architectural land marks that may have been some of the inspiration to the abraj al bait. Interestingly, no one commented on the feeling by some that the large clock face and massing is somewhat like Jabba the Hut.

I have not made any comment about the building, and you did not reply to me. Can't keep usernames apart, can you?
