I voted for City of Capitals.

some of them might have voted because of that, but lets not generalize. i like City of Capitals from the picture, but i have seen Abraj al Bait from up close, and its details are great, so i voted for Abraj, who knows if i see City of Capitals i might change my mind as well?

Hi Fayzoon.

This is a great project with great height.
What the frick does religion have to do with it ?
Because it is built close to religious site ?
... Bolderdash ..........

You almost say the above statement like everyone would want to be Muslim, and they're choked cause they're not ...... Oh brother .........

This is a skyscraper, not a religious monument.
Most people probably just don't like the clocks nor the bulkiness of the structure.

Personally I rather like the aesthetics of this project - just not the religious posts on almost every page of this thread.

End Rant ...

On topic.
Does anyone have access to a schedule of construction activities for this project ?
Wondering about top out and later, completion dates.

Ray.

They said they were going to install the crescent upon completing all four clocks. It has now been done so I'm guessing we should expect them to start lifting the parts slowly

I've just googled that, I see what you mean, that's one butt ugly building alright. I actually think it's worse than this one.

There was a picture posted here recently that I counted at least 45 tower cranes. i didn't even bother trying to spot all the little wheeled ones.

Is this complex fictitiously huge? Because this complex looks like something taken from a work of fiction.
