many muslims too will never be able to see Mecca (esp Kaaba) with our own eyes, even though most of us have the images of the Holy City hanged on the wall of our houses.. to many Muslims across the world, we believe one can only get the chance to visit the Holy City by invitation from God Himself..

I hope those bulbs can be replaced when they burn out from inside the Cresent. If you have to change bulbs from the outside, that's going to be one job I wouldn't want.

Can you tell me...why non Muslims can`t visit mecca? I`m a Christian but would sure visit this beautiful city of this great religion. I follow the progress and it`s amazing. The Muslims around the world can be proud of this place.

This is their rule. Just as they have to pray 5 times a day, or not drinking alcohol.

Wait so abraj al bait copied the big ben? They look nothing like each other... The only resemblance they have are the clock towers. If abraj al bait is a copy of the big ben, then big ben is a copy of the Tower of the Winds, the first clock tower.

So its laughable then that even officials of Mecca always compare it to big ben when talking about the sizes of elements

That won't worry the saudis too much. As long as their are enough rich muslims to keep filling the hotel.
The point is though, the ban on non muslims visiting grates, when muslims are accorded the same visiting rights to places of interest as non muslims throughout western society.

that is not because it looks a like, but because Big Ben clock is the most famous of all the clock towers. and they compare the clocks, not the towers

The green Crescent is laughable. Do they want this to be taken seriously?

The crescent doesn't have a full bulbs surface like the clock face,

So how the whole surface of the crescent is lighted?

I thought I would see mini light spot or dot all over!

^

You can't see the clock dots, and you won't see the crescent dots, because you're standing 601 m down and at least 5-10 km away
