You must separate two things: 1. This is a holy place for muslims. We are not touching exactly this topic. 2. The architecture level of the complex is somewhere between Disneyland, and "f... this place we will build something that from visibility and dominant point of view is much more important than Kaaba". There are some rationality proportions that should be equal. The effect of this chaos is visible also in the comments above.
