بدأت لجنة تطوير الساحات الشمالية للمسجد الحرام إزالة العقارات المعترضة لمسارالطريق الدائري الأول بما يعرف المنطقة رقم 60 خلف وقف الملك عبدالعزيز للحرمين الشريفين بأجياد أمس ، وشاركت 6 آليات ضخمة منذ الثامنة صباحاً في العمل تحت إشراف عدد من المهندسين والمختصين. وكشف نائب رئيس لجنة تطويرالساحات الشمالية المهندس محمد طه بن إبراهيم فقيه أن اللجنة ستنفذ خططها في فصل الخدمات بمحطات الكهرباء فى أحياء التيسيروالحجون وجبل الكعبة ، كما سيتم نزع ملكية 2000 عقار تعترض مسار الطريق الدائري الأول ومحطات النقل حول توسعة الحرم المكي الشريف والساحات المحيطة به ويبدأ المشروع من أنفاق باب علي ثم يأخذ مساره إلى منطقة الغزة ثم الراقوبة ومنها يمتد حتى يدخل إلى جبل هندي ليمر عبر الأرض الاستثمارية العائدة لرجل الأعمال عبداللطيف جميل، كما يمتد حتى يتصل بالطريق «الموازي» طريق الملك عبدالعزيز خلف جبل عمر ومن ثم يعود لمخرج أنفاق شعب علي.
