Any official sources for heights of buildings in Abraj Al-Bait complex? Number of floors can be found, but not heights info.

Al Marwa Tower (Called Tower B) 240m

Hijra Tower (Called Tower C) 260m??

ZamZam Tower (Called Tower D) 260m

Makkah Royal Hotel Tower (Called Tower H) 595m

The Wings:

Sarah Tower (Called Tower K) 240m

Maqam Tower (Called Tower F) 240m???

lol ok we will not but anyway I like the design so much but I would like it more if zamzam tower and hajer tower were 360 M height instead of 260 M.

Hotel is very high comparing with other towers. Increasing zamzam/Hajer tower or The wings height would be perfect and the building would look better but anyway it is over cause the work has been completed and no real changes anymore

It's not as much the building in itself - which is indeed beautiful - as the lack of sense of proportions and, possibly, the lack of respect for a holy place. I'm not a muslim myself, but if I were I'd be outraged...

I agree with you on 2 out of 3 points. But I personally feel that the building's design is foul, as well as badly proportioned and badly placed.

Well, for a Muscovite that may look conservative, since Al-Bait is similar (al-beit bigger) to the fifties-built "Seven [now eight] sisters". As for it being "beautiful"... hum, ok, maybe not beautiful, but it would be "acceptable" had it been built in NY or maybe Moscow (fourty years ago).

He's saying that the design looks 40 years old and very similar to what would be going up in Moscow at that time.

Regarding your confusion about the sign, you're probably wondering what that thing is on the right. It is a girl playing with a dress on, something perhaps that is not normal in backward lands

Could you please leave out these kind of comments in future? Your post would have done quite well without this comment at the end.

The sign I posted was not supposed to be funny, rather a maturity test, which all of you failed miserably.

Update: Two small minarets have been added at top of the main tower which is the Hotel (Beside the clock).

Yes I did. Some extra lunars halls have been added also. The minarets are not real manerates, they look like dooms more than minarets.
