We know Inshallah means GoD willing. If you want to remind us of the translation, mention it once in each post. No need to give the translation multiple times! No worries - hopefully you'll learn, Inshallah.

First - I assume you mean Burj Dubai. The word Burj just means tower.

The answer your question, based on my assumption - none what so ever. The implications of such a change (another 700') on the foundation would not have been foreseen. In addition, that would throw out the proportions even more! Lastly, increasing to marginally beyond the BD would just be so sad. So overtly about pride and ego that certainly even some wahabis would be scratching their heads!

No way, and height maximum can be 620M as far I heard wallahu a'lam (Allah knows best) and sure it is just a rumor too but I am pretty sure that it will not be even close to BD's height.

You seem unable to resist posting these types of comments even though I said not to do it anymore. Sure, there's no problem in stating whether you like this project or not, and why, but really it's time to leave out these comments. You know this always causes trouble so why not just leave them out entirely.
A typical example, your post would have been just fine without this last sentence.
If you really can't resist making these comments then it's maybe better not to post in this thread anymore.
So here's the solution.
One more comment like this and no more posting for you in this thread.

To everyone else, here's a solution that I recon many are not able to actually do. Avoid ad hominem attacks at ALL costs, even if some makes one against you.
Typical example is:

Why can't stuff like this just be left out entirely?

Lets say person A calls person B a retard. Now person B could:
1) Call person A a ****
2) Ignore it altogether
3) Or point out how that just isn't relevant to the discussion.

Why does everyone always pick option 1?

I don't know the providers of the mechanism, however, I do hope there is no corporate logo on it.

Malec - I do understand where you are coming from with respect to attacks on this thread. One thing I do want to point out is that some of the 'under cover' attacks may not be understood by the moderators. Many Muslims have actually suggested this project itself is an attack on Muslim history and diversity (including the Turks). The interesting twist I've seen on this thread is that anyone bringing up this type of fact here is automatically but into the basket of being anti-Muslim. The recent comment from 'Shahid' is an example. This is like one Christian group calling all others something other than Christian. It is a very nasty attack.

Anyway - I've said my piece in this regard. I'll do my best going forward - however, I don't appreciate being attacked for bringing up facts either.

[I do recognize there is the additional thread you've created for some of this. Thank-you for that! It did get quite a bit of discussion going for a while.]

They are opening the hotel in Trump Tower Chicago before the upper 1/2 ( condos ) are finished.

Nice entrance - has that "Islamic" look, the mall could be in any-city USA.
