Just curious, but does this tower tolerate non-muslims worshiping in the tower. For example group of christians being preached.

I'm sure that airports in Mecca don't have electronic religion detectors. ZZII probaly meant non-muslims not allowed to that worship place with box in the middle. (someone correct me)

Small towers (Al-Safa and Al-Marwa) consist of the following:
Podium (From Basement-3 to Level 13 aka Plaza) + 31 Typical Floor.

Note: The Floor Number 31 is the Tent.

If you do not count basements and Ground Floor then it is like the following:

From L1 to L12 (Podium + one more mezzanine floor called 3M which is food court) + Plaza Level + 31 Typical Floor = 13 + 1 + 31 = 45 Floors above GF

Come on...

If only moslems are allowed to enter the whole city of Mecca and the tower stands in the middle of said city what would be the probability that people of other faith could pray in the tower? Hm...

No, numbskull... NO non Muslims are allowed into the entire city of Mecca. That's not to say that non-Muslims haven't gone there - they have (famous among them the UK academic Richard Burton). But you're risking a trial by shari'a law, and possibly the death penalty if they find out. Then again, how the hell they would know you weren't Muslim is beyond me. Visitors must apply for a Saudi visa, on which you must write your religion. So I guess if your name is Charlie Cohen or something they'd get kinda suspicious. Then again, if you read up on Islam and just kept your head down I guess you could get away with it. If it really came to the crunch, it would help for men to be circumcised too, I think. Although I think converts are allowed to remain uncircumcised.

I have been into Medina as i had a spare day in Jeddah and it was very intresting as our hosts (large saudi group) took us in a tainted window car and there is a sign saying non muslims not allowed over the freeway but apparently we are allowed in during the day but cant stay over night.
Other famous non muslims in Mecca were the french special forces who entered in 1979 to kill the extreamists who had taken over the mosques. They were famously elecrocuted when the french flooded the tunnels where they had escaped to and then troped in elec cables.

This is not an accurate account of what took place. Wikipedia has a decent article on the 'Grand Mosque Seizure' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Mosque_Seizure

This is not correct,
for example the current haram was designed and built with the help of non muslims

What would Saladin know? It's not like he captured Jerusalem or anything.
