Thanks, everyone! I had a brilliant day out and it was good to be in the cold fresh air all day.
@ skymantle, Trianon is an upscale home furnishing/accessory shop. That strip along King Street East is home to many, many Interior Design shops (Herman Miller, Klaus Nienkamper, etc....) @ Openly Jane; I'm glad you liked the pics! I think that the key to success is to plan lots and lots of residential buildings in the direct vicinity of the old factories. That provides a round the clock Living/Working/Playing neighbourhood. As a dusty museum wrapped in cotton wool they are less successful. People bring life to a neighbourhood.

On Sunday it was a high of 4c during the day, and down to -3c at night. Was humid and felt cold near the lake. It is 8c at the moment, but likely will get colder by the weekend, and maybe snow, too for Christmas! (which I hope happens).

Thanks, Chris! And to you and your family too! No snow today, and 4c so it looks like it is a green Christmas after all..

Any updates, TB? How is the winter up there? As mild as ours has been? I just saw the first flowering daffodils of the spring today, and some trees are starting to bud. We're about a month ahead of schedule.

I caught one of the gleaming new subway cars at Osgoode Station tonight. They articulate around corners, and have no interior partitions from front to back:
