Are those cranes on last photo working at Alberga Business Park's C- & D-buildings site? I mean are other parts of that complex also U/C?

I was browsing through Brunow & Maunula's projects to see what they had been up to lately (they did one of Tivoli housing projects in Tallinn, which construction should start in this year),when I found Alberga.

The cranes are NCC's so I would say yes. Next to Alberga Business Park is under construction Lujatalo's Sola Business Valey. It's a lot more uglier compared to ABP's architecture.

Ok, nice! Brunow & Maunula's has some cool buildings.

Sola Business Valley (btw, what's up with those English names? ) isn't that bad, when compared to Alberga Very nicely proportioned building. It could have more glass surfaces on the facade, but I guess it's more focused on high energy efficiency.

No concrete paved bedrock surfaces like in our already existing underground stations? That could be, not just cooler but also more unique interior feature. (Are there any other metros on planet earth to have such except Stockholm?)

Honestly those stations look way too sterile to become anything unique or memorable (or "citizens' shared living rooms" as they kind of promised). That big bald concrete wall at Otaniemi looks merely horrific. But hey, at least entrances have changed for the better. If these are not final, I really hope there will be some improvement.

And I thought they've finally buried the autmatization thing?

You mean the glass walls? It was at worst going to be semi automatic with somebody still being on the controls doing nothing. Meaning the system would have been in essence exactly the same as automatic.

Though now they went back to full automatic again with Siemens.

Me likey,me likey a lot.

Keilaniemi's metro station entrance looks awesome, but interior is bit boring. The rest of them..well,like Jape said,Länsimetro stations are bit too sterile.
Oh,and I personally hate platform screen doors. Not only are they turning entire stations into bland glass & concrete boxes, but they are also removing every other unique aspect of riding with metro. Unfortunately they are getting increasingly common in these days...

Ah, ok. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...

...and hope they'll return to this hella expensive issue in 2025 if it's really necessary even then (which I honestly doubt).

Two fresh construction updates of Kehärata from Vantaankoski station (copypasted from Talo of course):

A lot of people expressed deep disappointment in Talo forum and I can see why, it's so minimalistic that the design works best in unnaturally clean and sterile renderings.

Holy fuck, this is the current design.

They better get things right with Kalasatama, Pasila and Jätkäsaari. Those projects will add houses for 100 000 people and huge amount of office space to Helsinki.

It's a bit scary to even think what will happen if they cheap out those huge projects.

Yes they have. You'll get a nice 70m^2 flat with 350000€ if you win the HITAS-lottery (you won't as there's about 100 participants for each flat). I don't even want to know how much the unsubsidized flats cost.

Actually the Helsinki city subsidized HITAS apartments sell for around 2200-2300€ per m^2 (you have to sell the apartment at subsidized price in the future as well and not market price). The regular prices range from ~4000-5000€ per m^2 depending on the floor and location of the apartment.
