First I would like to indicate that the official name for this stadium is "Seoul Worldcup Stadium" because it was builit in preperation for Korea-Japan Worldcup in 2001. FYR, Sangam is the name of the district where it's located.

Breaking down the seats, it has the total seats of 66,806 including the first class seats of 816 and the press seats of 754. Most important to Sercan, it has 75 luxury suites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS) The stadium is the largest football-only stadium(I mean having no athletics tracks) in Asia. The second largest one is Saitama Stadium in Japan which has the seats of 63,700.

Why was this stadium built for the 2002 World Cup and why wasn't the Jamsil Olympic Stadium used?
