Have you guys read the news about expanding Gurney Plaza. I read it in a chinese newspaper. But i can't find the article to post here.

According to them, they have summit the proposal to the state government..this project will take 3 years to complete. But they didn't mention when will this project be carried out.
The 60 million expanding project will be taken on the 4 to 5 hectare land beside the Gurney Plaza

Where are they gonna find space to expand Gurney Plaza? In front of Gurney Place? The existing open car park next to Gurney Park condos? Traffic will come to a gridlock if the expansion is carried out together with the Hunza project. I dare not imagine the horror.....hahaha.

Yupe..the existing open car park...That shopping mall will be 7 stories. A few years back..that land suppose to be used as an office Tower...But since the office lots in Penang is overwhelm, they change it to a new mall...

Oh ya...the G-Hotel carpark can b used for the gurney plaza shoppers too

We got Queensbay coming up somemore they want another 7 storey mall? I wonder which one will turn into white elephant first...u know la Penang malls.

hmm...i think that expantion project will not carry out too soon...maybe after 3 years

But..i think there are many malls are in proposal now...PTS-->something like Bugis...., the one beside Komtar.....and the other 1 by Hunza...

Butterworth has a few too....

it's developer is NUSMETRO VENTURE (P) SDN BHD (NVPSB) and joint venture with KOPERASI PEGAWAI KERAJAAN NEGERI PULAU PINANG (KPKPP)
