That's right! You are from Denver or something like that, originally.

wow, both buildings are fantastic. However, Canadian Parliament looks like the British parliament house.

I will prefer US Capitol since it looks more grand

If Canadian Parliament change the colour, maybe i will vote for it.

Except that they were designed by the ones who designed the european marvels. And that is completely disregarding the face that the architecture styles the use are in fact, copies of architectural styles from medieval times (Canadian Parliament's Neo Gothic) and GrecoRoman times (capitol)

Both are great examples of great architecture. The canadian Parliament design looks more diligent, while the U.S. Capitol is just impressive because of the magestic dome. I'd be inclined to vote for the Canadian if it wasn't because of the frescos the U.S. capitol has. The winner I think should be the U.S. Capitol.

Well, it's hard to decide...but I'll go with the Canadian Parliament because the US Capitol (although grand and striking) looks rather bland in comparison. However, I do prefer the grounds around the US Capitol.

Canada has more than two major parties, so that's a plus.

As far as building, U.S. Capitol, and that's un-biased based on looks.

I prefer the Canadian Parliament! (also because I like Canada 10 times more than the conservative 'USA'!)

I think the Canadian Parliament is MUCH better!....and it has nothing to do with the fact i live 4 blocks away from it.

Glasgow Univ. looks sooo much alike...I would have to look at it twice to confirm I wasn't in Ottawa.

This pic is blowing my mind

I just assumed it looked the same before the fire as it does today!

C'mon, the gargoyles on the Peace tower have to tip the scale in favour of The Canadian Parliament building. I find there is more 'edge' to it.

Im a big fan of the US capitol, and most of that comes from its placement and size. Granted it looks like a giant tit just down the trail from the big **** on the national mall, but inside its just so beatiful. The frescos are incredible and its just so effing huge.

The Canadian Parliament is an absurd piece of Victoriana which looks like a train station for some provincial town in Scotland. The US Capitol is very graceful and restrained by comparison.

The architecture of the US Capitol is brilliant!
...and the dome is a masterpiece!
