Rose Rotana remains on schedule

Dubai: Construction of the Dh410 million Rose Rotana Suites is progressing on schedule, says Arabian Construction Company.

The core wall is complete to 264 metres, which ACC claims is the highest construction point among all ongoing projects in Dubai. The tower will be 333 metres high on completion.

Hassan Auji, General Manager of ACC, says, "We have had to deal with several logistic issues because, among other things, we were building in between two existing structures on Shaikh Zayed Road. Delivering materials to that height, especially the structural steel members, was the main challenge."

ACC's noteworthy projects include Park Place, Al Mas Tower, Emirates airline headquarters and the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The Rose Tower on Shaikh Zayed Road is the latest one to complement ACC's portfolio.

ACC claims the tower will be the tallest hotel and furnished apartment building in the world and its topmost floor will be the highest living floor in the Middle East.

"Construction work on the Rose Rotana Suites Tower has proceeded without interruption from the moment we laid the foundations. The crane has reached a height of 270 metres, and if you look at Dubai from a perspective, no other crane in any other property development stands higher.

"At ACC, we have built a sterling reputation for excellent project management, hence we have an exceptional track record for completing projects on time," said Auji.

ACC expects to complete the Rose Rotana Suites by the end of the year.

Highlights

The project consists of 482 units divided into 434 furnished studios and 48 suites located between the 54th and 65th floor and will offer the guests a 360 degree view of the Dubai skyline.

The building also includes six floors of furnished offices and meeting areas, restaurants and laundry facilities and an adjacent nine-storey car park (a swimming pool and recreation centre both located on the car park roof) connected to the main tower by a pedestrian bridge.

Milestone reached

The core wall of Rose Rotana Suites is complete up to 264 metres, which Arabian Construction Company claims is the highest construction point among all ongoing projects in the Dubai. The tower will be 333-metre high on completion.

BTW Rose Rotana, is NOT the tallest construction site in Dubai, nor it has the highest crane.

Both those titles still belongs to this building:
