Actually the number 74 includes also the Ground (G), Mezzanine (M) and the service/mechanical floors, also the central core of the building is some 4 floors ahead.

We have now: G + M + 43 + 4 Service (2 x 2) + 4 (on the core = 54 Floors, so basically 20 more to go on the central core. The tower should definitelly be above 200 meters now.

If you check the second picture, on the other side of the highway, there's a cylindric glass tower. That tower (Horizon) is 190 meters tall and almost oposite Almas, so they are more or less on the same distance from the camera.

Thanks.

So Imre stated that the 35th floor was at 156.8 Meters, so:

156.8/35*54 = 241.9m, that sounds about right.

Is that the Metro tracks in the middle of this pic (just above the white car/SUV and to the left of the bus)?

Actually that is the machine that lays the tracks, not the tracks themselfs, which is underneath that.

That is also not correct, since beneath the 35th floor are also the G, M and 2 x 2 Service Floors, so the 35th office floor, corresponds to the 41st level of the core. Also those other floors do not neccessarily have the same height as the regular office floors, propably higher.

However I still believe the tower has reached above 200 meters, even that just slightly.

Great tower, but it doesn't look exactly completed, does it? Change the thread title please...

By the way, unfortunately Antwerp seems to be powerless against such megaprojects. Dubai: new diamond centre of the world?? I hope not...

great shots. i think we worked out a while back you add 5 floors to labelled floors for actual number above grd. i think its 47th floor level + 3more in core thus 50? going by elevation that equates to 222m high.
cheers
