I really like the Design of this one. It looks like Dubai will have more 1,000 Foot Towers, than any other city in the world!

I Meant with it only the UC Towers. it's not clear that all Approved or Proposed towers will be ever built. Correct?

actually every tower that is approved is certain to build, of course , actually is the word to be emphasized.

but once it is approved there is no real difference to UC, at least in Dubai, it is different elsewhere..

i did not include proposed in that 28 anyway.

I don't think that's true Flo, Wasn't Najd tower approved? And that's been cancelled. And I'm sure some other non-supertall towers have been approved and not built, there is no certainty that it cannot happen to a supertall. However, I would say the chances of buildings becoming 'never built' is far lower in Dubai than in most other cities.

Ahh, silly me. I must have been tricked by that word in block capitals on the thread title saying 'APPROVED' . And there are numerous towers in Dubai that are approved, or even underconstruction before they are launched.

Besides, it's not really the point. The point is that approved does not mean certain to be built, even in Dubai, likely to be built yes but not certain.

Anyhow, back on topic.
