Bad weather for almost 2 weeks. First misty and foggy and then the dust storms came and then become foggy again.

Not good for photography ... hopefully I can manage to take a few today

I've been following the construction since one of the first posts, and loved the design.
A few months ago, when it was nearby topping-out, i was really disappointed by the colour.
However, the more i look at the structure, the more i'm starting to like it (again).

Just wait and see how it will turn out to be. I think eventually, many of the criticizers will also adjust their opinion.
I also loved the design, but in its renders.I thought it was a strong masculine minimalist design but the real building looks a little bland to me. but as you say, the end product will probably change many an opinion

Dumb question, but... Did you mean to write "July", or are those pics really a month old?

Must say the top section looks really good now, and even though the cladding is still not complete yet, it's filling in very nicely indeed. Great shots guys!

I like the design of the top bit - all looks a little mysterious.
They're spoiling the effect with putting up the concrete framing.
The plain black / grey block structure looked intriguingly spooky.
It's the sort of building that looks like a piece of some bigger structure, as if there should be a row that forms one wall of a large square colosseum.

Actually, it may turn out better than we think. They could easily put white panels over the concrete framing and they will not do this until the last phase of the project. If you look at the cityscape proposal models (years back) they had these really cool white panels.

Also, they may play with the lights and shine color lights up the sides to make it really cool looking. Anyway, there is things they can do to make it more attractive.

We really should not comment too much on the framing since we really do not know the final results are.

There is no exposed concrete on this building. It already has panelling, just happens to be concrete colour.

Yawn. I guess it's okay, but it just looks like a shorter, fatter version of the Lighthouse.
