Whoever says this building is ugly should think again. This tower is great! Thanks for the updates Imre.

I don't hate it, but it doesn't quite live up to the renders. The grey concerte is just too dull. It's just too dreary looking. The renders made the design pop. The real thing doesn't.

True, but it is better to have something different amidst all of the glass IMO.

I enjoy the building more in real life than the renders. It looks kind of retro vs the renders, like it seems to be older than it really is maybe. It brings diversity because of all the blue glass builds with small footprints.

I love this building, most likely my favorite tower in Dubai! Neo-brutalist??? Who knows?...but the previous posts totally hit the nail on the head. The large footprint, the offset angle and the huge slabs of concrete all contrast magnificently with the SZR strip of blue pencils.

I like this tower but it's a shame they didn't use a different color for those brown/gray concrete looking panels at the sides of the tower. It would be much nicer if they were white IMO. Now it looks a bit communistic

You receive the "1 millionth person to say that" award.

It does have a lot of concrete to show for it, but IMO it is a great building and the location is suiting.

I like it. It's very assertive and unique. It really anchors that section of town and it counterbalances the scale of some of the taller towers. If this baby were built in Chicago, I swear everybody would be drooling over it.

Yeah I totally agree with you. The line of towers on Sheihk Zayed is so 2 dimensional and the Index provides depth. Index encloses and creates a destination within DIFC.
I think its sexy as hell

Always been a big fan of this building. I'm happy to see how well everything is turning out here now. A real classic imo.
