I still wish they would rebuild the original World Trade Center, with better safety features. This could be done by imposing a no fly zone over the are (is there one already?) and including other enhanced safety features including better fire protection, wider stairwells to decrease evacuation time, and doing what is done in London's financial district and create a "Ring of Steel" around the area.

It looks like they changed the lights on 7WTC; it's purple!

Ow... now it's back to blue, but they lit up the 7WTC garden in front of the lobby.

everything about the new Freedom Tower is totally awesome, excpet the base. it gets a -7/10 score. overall, from bird eye view of lower manhattan, though, its an easy 10/10. on its own is an 8.5-9/10. First 200 ft are -7/10.

The Freedom Tower is supposed to be the centerpiece of a new World Trade Center. Mayor Bloomberg says it's also the ideal place to house the memorial museum and visitors center. I don't know...

to that, its 1,250 feet. the antenna goes to 1,472' i believe, but since antennas dont count for height then its 1,250'.

The origonal was designed just down the street from me here in Troy, they are going to demolish the building to make room for a hotel expasion.

but if someone ask you how tall ESB is, you dont say 381m, you say 450m! thats the height to its tip.you cant ignore a 70m structure! it definately is part of its intricate design.
