What I agree with is that each tower will have it's own unique design and height.

The WTC will reinvent itself into history.

When it's all done, I'd like to have a model sitting in my living room.

WAIT A SECOND -- how do we even know that Silverstien won't force them to lower the heights of the skyscrapers or someone else with power will do somethign evil like that!?

Silverstein's own 7 WTC is not as tall as the master plan of towers.

Why should he be concerned?

The guy is an urban developer making tons of money on the deal.

OMG THAT IS AWESOME.

4 Towers taller than the ESB under in development for downtown??

How realstic is this do you guys think? I cant help but think "how are they going to fill all that office space?" If they are having trouble filling WTC 7?

Anyway, not to be pessimistic, this is awesome news, just a few days ago I was asking if anyone knew how tall these other three buildings will be, now I know there is good chance they will all be supertalls!!

youll hear the people saying oh its a false alarm, this n that, but the FACT is, those figures are in the latest developments. How you gonna argue with that? Speculate all you want. I know this is a possibility, and I hope it happens because its a damn good proposal and will bring downtown manhattan back into the intl spotlight. Who the **** else has a better development going on right now? the answer is none.

Even if all these buildings dont get to the peak height mentioned, they will be over 1,000ft. Thats still more than enough.

Yeah, nice news, but why don't I hear it anywhere else? Did the WSJ get a sneak peak?

Now they will really need those 34 tower cranes and 15,000 workers, all for five towers over 1,000 feet. I hope they don't do something stupid, like add a 400 foot spire to each one.

Word. Spire to cap the centerpiece and flat tops to compliment it = what I think would work best.

Lol, I am pretty sure that is the old 4WTC parking lot level being slowly removed, but, yes, that's where Freedom Tower will be.

Hey didnt the twin towers have like 10 basement floors? I wonder how many the freedom tower has and how long it will take to finish them before steel starts rising above ground.
