Exactly Espoo is just an extension of Helsinki.
I read in the paper that after the metro station in Keilaniemi is completed several residential high-rises will be built on top of the station. They described the future Keilaniemi as a mini Manhattan ![]() And what ever happened to the proposed Tapiola towers?

Nothing as far as I know. To my recollection their construction was planned to coincide with the metro extension.
