Exactly Espoo is just an extension of Helsinki.

I read in the paper that after the metro station in Keilaniemi is completed several residential high-rises will be built on top of the station. They described the future Keilaniemi as a mini Manhattan

And what ever happened to the proposed Tapiola towers?

Nothing as far as I know. To my recollection their construction was planned to coincide with the metro extension.

Indeed, the design is nice but old. The new design is good but not as good as the old.

Why would you want more height if you think the design looks boring? To see it's boringness from a greater distance?

No I mean it's looks boring because the building is to short for the design. Double the hight and it will look much better...
