I just fell in love with this tower. This tower sort of resembles the Transamerica Tower. Notice that in all the renders there is a new tower behind the Ralphs, what would that be????? 8th and Hope, is it the Hope Street Condos??

They should build more buldings along the metro lines.

Yes, it's 8th and Hope which is also a CIM proposal.

The CIM's Park Tower looks european, that's a good sign. We need more like these.

That new 50 story tower sticks out a lot, hee I like that. Well imagine how dense the area would look with this tower, Metropolis, and that 40 stoty tower to the west of the 110! Now that's what I'm talking about! And maybe that hotel at 8th & Fig.

The majority of the people seem to like it. Personally, I'm glad it's only a preliminary design and that there will be future changes. The buildilng is was too chunky and I don't like the curved facade.

The new Maguire 7th+Fig tower is 50 stories, yet is taller than the 53-story 777 Tower next to it!

Those are the Hope Street Condos. I think they're called iHope.

In all actuallity, I like that name.

And I like the 7+Fig office tower. It just needs to be refined and have a more 'put together' look.

that area is gonna look pretty dense if all projects come thru, the 50 story office building, Metropolis, 1100 wilshire, Inghram building, trinity towers, 1048 wilshire, concerto, muruelo tower, park tower, 8th and hope, 8th & grand, only thing i would have to say is that i hope there are other materials used because most of these buildings use alot of glass, someone should use marble, limestone, other materials so that it doesnt make the skyline look too "sterile" btw I like that 2nd pic of the 7+fig tower because the glass seems to clash well with the stone and limestone of the other buildings sorrounding it if they were to use that same glass which looks like the same used on 7 World Trade Center in NYC then that would fit in well to the skyline and the current design of the building would allow the building to show more density when viewed from the west and eastsides.

lol now downtown needs a true "red" or "green" maybe even "orange" colored building to be more colorfully aesthetical

Well of that rundown of proposed buildings, lets say 50% of those are acutally built, it would still make a great impact on the skyline. But being realistic, I would be hapy if at least a quarter of those are actually built.
