Nice update. LA Live is flying as we all know. Hopefully the next update includes Grand A. Phase 1, Concerto [u/c], and the Glass Tower, hopefully they're u/c by then. I feel good about Evo, it might get a crane very very soon.

Astani is about to sart, for the Glass tower they're trying to market the project to other developers.

^ Cool, why do they want to market the Glass Tower to another developer. Does this mean this project has been approved and it's just waiting for funding. Or vice versa........ Or are they only selling the idea for a quick profit, does this even make sense????

I don't know why you wouldn't feel good about Evo seeing as how it's progressing.

And Grand Ave won't start until December.

Evo won't have a tower crane for a while, probably at least a month. They've still got a lot of foundation work to do, and the tower crane won't go up until that's done.

From Los Angeles, there will be several updates before we see anything on Grand Ave. That's not scheduled to start until December, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it started a bit late.

I forgot to post this earlier, but here's a shot of the facade test for Luma. It's a slate gray color, different from the brown color in the renderings. I'm interested to see what this looks like with the glass.

A lot of very interesting proposals for L.A., i think the city needed it, i love the downtown there but its still "little" for a city like that.

Nice update man. Figueroa already looks crazy with those cranes, imagine next year, 2 for Fig Central, 2 for South, and 2 for Concerto, it'll be dope.

Can we expect to see cranes for the Glass Tower soon. You don't put a sign up and fence off the lot if it's going to fall through.

glass tower is not fenced off... its a fully functional parking lot. i was gona ask the guy in the booth if all this construction eating up parking lots is increasing business for him... but i decided not to then saw the giant sign saying future home of glass tower.

I walked around downtown today went by la live talked to a passing construction guy and he told me there will be 2 -3 levels of subterrean parking and that all of it should be done by december. I walked by hanover too they are pouring concrete on the first columns of the parking structure so its coming along. I went by Ralphs too they are progressing really good putting up the outer walls for the 5th floor, I went to South sales center and the guy told me that Figueroa Central is temporaily cancelled due to rising construction costs and that they are revising the former 34 story tower in Fig South to 23 stories and the other one will remain 34 stories, also Concerto should start in June and Olympic & City house look definite cuz those developers have very deep pockets. Everything seems to be going in full speed u can see the momentum gaining everyday u are downtown it seems like more people are rediscovering it and more ped and auto traffic on the streets.
