What a show you guys put it here, Jus and Senhor Portugues! I have learned so much from both of you. Couldn't believe I spent couple hours to read this thread. My wife was wondering what I was doing with my cell phone (yes I read it on my cell phone). But since it is so interesting, I couldn't resist keep reading it even on the tiny screen.

This thread definitely gets my vote for the Hall of Fame!

I would draw the conclusion, Macau is the most important and attractive place among the three, Macau, Portugal, Kongkong.

Macau is attractive, but probably not the most important place out of the three, it depends on what you are judging on anyway

The GDP per capita of Macau may suppass that of HK in the next few years. The GDP growth in Macau is scary.

I said this just arising from this thread. The two guys arguing with each other definite are Macau-lovers, while HK and Portugal correspondingly are irrelevant and less important in the topic.

You could say they have hijacked this thread.

This cannot be for sure, because the growth is sudden and not stable. But I would be so impressed if this happens! I love Macau.

Pax, I'm sure that Macau's GDP WON'T grow that fast again after those construction completes and the maturity of the gambling market.

I really hope your Gov't could do well for anti-corruption and take good care on the budget! Look at what Sonpou critise for the East Asian Games budget last week and this week! The title is Macau, where will you go for tomorrow? -- The apocalypse from the East Asian Games (2005). )

Last Week:

This week:

--What the passage mainly critise 1, the Gov't planned budget for this East Asian Games badly and costed 4 billion Patacas more. 2, The Legsitive Assembly didn't monitor the budget well. 3, Media didn't monitor the budget and 4, No voice from the Macau people.
