This building can never be considered as all residential. The first 13 floors will be occupied by a Hotel Palomar which is operated by Kimpton Hotels. The residential units begin on the 14th floor and go all the way uop to the top of the tower. The most expensive unit is the 65th floor penthouse. It occupies the entire 65th floor and has a huge 360 degree deck on top of the tower's highest transition point. The unit cost $7,500,000 and has been sold.
Have any of the reservations turned into contracts yet. You said the top unit is sold and I was wondering if papers have been signed. I believe this building will sell very well but I'm wondering

I should have said reserved, not sold. The sales office opened just this week and we're all waiting to find out how well thing's are going. There have been no media reports yet that I know of. I plan to visit the sales center on April 6, but that's a couple of weeks away. As soon as I hear anything concrete, I'll be sure to post.

its amazing to me to see people who are amazed over a nashville project.

hehe, it makes me so giddy

i never thought i would see people react to nashville like this in my lifetime!!!

its really cool that nashville is being put on the map internationally with this project. dont get me wrong, we are a long ways a way from becoming a world class city, if we ever do, but people are going to recognize nashville now. before, all we had was the bellsouth tower, and there is one similar to it in austraila and one being built kind of the same in china too.

its cool that people see nashville now!

According to the developer, they will not begin converting reservations into sales contracts until about mid-May.

You're kidding. thats the most expensive apartment in a thousand footer. It would easy be 30 mil+ in NYC. Im so jealous. Not that i even have 7.5 mil but damn. the dream to live that high up is a little bit more attainable

Here is a link to some positive mention:

http://wkrn.com/nashville/news/urban...odes/88720.htm

I noticed that the story says that Signature has more sales than both Veridian and Encore combined. That must mean the sales are happening but that TG just isn't saying a lot.

Also, the penthouses are said to be "75" stories above Nashville. That may be just an error but is interesting.

The crown is reminiscent of Jin Mao's spire.

It looks very nice in the renders so it should look even better when its done.

Here are some news links for Signature's latest marketing tool. Kind of cool and kooky at the same time. Could be fun. Basically they are going to give hot air balloon rides so potential buyers can be raised the same height of various floors. I imagine the penthouse views will be spectacular and totally unobstructed. Here is a link to the news report by Richard Lawson.

And a link to the TV report:

I haven't see anything new on this thread in days. I was just wondering how:

1. The sales are going.
2. The balloon rides are going.
3. Any action at the construction site.
4. Are any reservations now actual contracts? (Hankster said mid-May so it may be early)

Which news report had that information. I'd like to post the link over on UP just to raise everyone's mood. There are a couple of people on there that are super-skeptical. If the reservations have indeed turned into contracts, then that puts a new spin on things and might actually silence a few.
