Nice one. How will it look in the skyline?

Not so much the Empire State Building but more the Chrysler building with the patterned shaped roofline. I'll say, this is probably one of the classiest projects in the States right now, if not the world even. Beautiful supertall and none more deserving than Ole' Nashville.

It's a great looking tower but calling it the classiest under construction in the world is certainly subjective.

I am just curious which kinds of people will actually buy condos in this tower, are they going to be mostly local, from the Mid-west, the south, or even the whole nation?
Anyone with money will buy it for sure.

Compared to the typical Vancouver style condo towers popping everywhere here in the states, not to mention some of the tacky stuff doing up in Dubai and elsewhere, Signature is a much needed breath of fresh air. I mean this is as close to a perfect skyscraper as you can get. Not extremely tall as to throw off the balance of Nashville's skyline, clean lines, and a unique top. Plus it's central location in the city's skyline. Not too many cities have their tallest in the center.

I'm curious... Will Signature Tower be the second tallest residential tower behind Chicago Spires in North America?

Doesn't Signature Tower include a hotel?

Yes, the Hotel Palomar on the lower 12 floors.

Giarratana, hotel group sign deal for tower
Skyscraper developer Tony Giarratana and Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group have signed a 15-year operating agreement, moving ahead with previously announced plans for a 197-room boutique hotel as part of the 70-story Signature Tower downtown, officials said.
Hotel Palomar will occupy the lower 12 floors of Signature Tower.

I would have to disagree. It is extremely special with class to go with it.

as happy as I am for Nashville... I truely do not like this building. The spire is way too much for me. Doesn't look... natrual.

I have to disagree. I think this is one of the best proposals out there. The spire is a perfect culmination to this design.

I fail to see how this isn't eye catching to the minority. Stand by what I say to say this is a truly breathtaking piece of architecture and it does resemble the Jin Mao, gorgeous looks matched by a domineering decent height.

Groundbreaking is expected in exactly one month...July 4th. We are anxiously awaiting the start of construction.
