How high is the top floor of ESB or Chrysler? Both have tall spires.

truly a beauty. it's going to be absolutely stunning now that it's a whoppin' 70 floors instead of the original 55.

It looks like to me that the ESB observation deck is at about 970 Ft and the top level is at about 1075 Ft.

The Chrysler spire seems to start at about 800 Ft, but I think there are some floor levels up in the spire.

The Empire State Building doesn't have a spire; it's highest floor is around 1,240' above grade.

Uh-oh - Tony G. better add another floor. Can't be topped by only one foot.

I noticed that you listed 74 levels. The tower is listed as "only" having 70 floors, but it does have more than 70 levels. There are several "floors" in the structure that have condos with two levels. These are only counted as single floors, while I think they should have been counted as the two floors that they are.

This building can never be considered as all residential. The first 13 floors will be occupied by a Hotel Palomar which is operated by Kimpton Hotels. The residential units begin on the 14th floor and go all the way uop to the top of the tower. The most expensive unit is the 65th floor penthouse. It occupies the entire 65th floor and has a huge 360 degree deck on top of the tower's highest transition point. The unit cost $7,500,000 and has been sold.
