Sorry to seem to be the bearer of bad news every time, but this is a quote from a contact I have living in DSC, about the CRW buildings: "We regularly keep an eye on your building and can report that the crane attached to it has not moved in months. Many other buildings are actually being worked on / finished so we do feel some sense of optimism that more is starting to happen in Sports City." So Sept 2012 is looking like another false dawn...

Does the crane need to move ? Photographs suggest that structure is all but built. Looks as if just the inside need doing anyway.

Venetian is on-hold????? Where is this info coming from? How can you put a virtually completed building on-hold? And what does that mean for the other two buildings, when they're all interconnected?

What a nightmare.

i dont have confirmation whether CRW is on hold. But, even if it is, then its not construction hold, it is more of a strategic hold. They might wait for handover so that the infrastructure around the CRW is completed, namely the canal and roads, utilities etc.

So this kind of hold is not a bad thing.

Strategic on hold cause they have no money to finish./...

Money from Escrows taken by DSC directors

Question is when will they finish ..at the moment if it goes any slower it won,t...?

Canal won,t be completed probably back filled for safety reasons /cash flow etc

DSC has run out of answers and any updates etc ?

This investment will be a long and painful out come imo

They will want thousands of pounds dewa /air-con/community fees etc .

The owners of DSC are clearly not interested in any more development of infrastructure in DSC....

So where is the Sporting community...there is,nt. one, so there is no sports city for the average person who wants that type of environment ..so why would you invest/rent ...now the promises have not been delivered..six years down the line..!

In the meantime, all the investors sit without hundreds of thousands not earning anything and doing nothing - great.

The scaffold is coming down...!!

Well after seeing some photo's this week showing the European Building, I am very happy to see that the scaffold is coming down as the external painting is complete....I can now see my balcony in all it's glory....I'm not stupid enough to think that handover is anytime soon but just to see some progress is heartening...

I have to say the the buildings look great, we made a very good decision with CRW.....better than any other development in DSC or in Motor City...!!

Come on DSC....just another push to get it over the line and I for one will be a happy man...

Crw Buildings do look great ...but will be very difficult to rent, as the first group,s "the matrix" next to CRW are 5 star fit out and big... very high floors also... these will soak up any canal siding rentals imo ..simply because they are better .

Crw apartments too small and basic fit out.. but good location but location for what ?
