There's not much to be found, mainly because all the attention is on the main tower.

But I found this on the official website for the commercial area around the Tree.

Well, in fact it's not, there are some places situated 30min by train from downtown (I mean inside Yamanote loop) where you feel already being in the far suburbs, even countryside!
But it's true, even from a top view you feel like you are somewhere in an endless city!
A sea of of buildings up to the horizon

Going up nicely. Looks a lot like the construction of the Guangzhou TV Tower.

I went there today and took some pictures, and I can assure you that the photos do not capture the feeling of being dominated we have in front of Skytree.
Last time I saw it for real in mid August, it was 110m, and now 215+, seeing it doubled its size in just 3 month is amazing!!!

I saw good progress on the new level but official height is still 215m.

Here we can see its little sister who will be dismantled.

Very busy work around the site and some progress at the refurbishing of the canal banks.

View of the core and what will be "the main entry"

Early night view and... BONUS: I found this homemade Skytree model outside a shop in the area. I remember a debat on this forum wheter this tower will become an icon or not, well, it already is!

This has to be my most favorite current tower going up. It's simple, elegant, and impressive; I'd expect nothing less from Tokyo.
