Weird that you say that. Tokyo produces less pollution per capita than almost every major city in the world. Tokyo does not have a pollution problem..

would sky tree be japans first supertall? it is definitely japans first hypertall but what about supertall?

Yup the tallest building in Japan right now is the Yokohama Landmark Tower at 295.8 M. Osaka is getting a supertall right now too.

Actually no, because the Tree isn't a building, thus making it a stucture. And Tokyo Tower was the first at 333m.

bad: I got injured last week and spent the last few days in hospital.

good: the hospital had great views of the Sky Tree at sunrise! The other patients & I were up everyday at 6:30am taking photos.










(sorry for the boring pics. they don't show anything new, I was just happy to see it live for a while.)

Which means that they are past the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building then...
And judging by the images then that height would be obsolete pretty soon
