Why do they build it as lattice tower and not as concrete tower like Moscow TV Tower or Toronto CN Tower?

You can see it taper less now towards the top, unless it's an optical effect.

i noticed that too, until i realized it was an illusion created by the transition from a triangular to a circular floorplan.
it even almost seemed crooked to me, at first.
