Does anybody know how tall is it now?
Btw. I think that this build is the safest in the tire history of constructions .

Yeah, I was asking myself that same question. Has any important earthquake struck Tokyo since the construction began?

lol,, no nothing 'important' yet.. funny way to put it

Being here only 3 years - so far, earthquakes of perceivable strength in central Tokyo are usually few and far between, 2Mag - 3M every month or two with a 4M + once or twice in a year to keep you on your toes. Ibaraki and Chiba get rumbled more frequently in Kanto region.

However, we can't be complacent.. the 'tokai' earthquake is overdue and predicted to strike around Shizuoka area with a magnitude of 7 - 8M.

The Sky Tree has been built with Tokai in mind of course. It won't be a nice place to be (in) during a 4M + quake I think, but if you like being in a boat during a large swell you might like it.

Even though it clearly grew on Saturday there's no new official height, it's still 368m even with a new date of 05/08. I guess the put up the new parts too late on Saturday to make them count for the official height.

05/10 morning

They really could remove some more from the blue scaffolding thing from the bottom.
This tower will be perfect
