It looks like the highest level may have gone beyond the first observation deck judging by the reappearance of the angled cross beams. Maybe because it's early and I just got up but does anybody else think that the top of the tower looks like it's wearing a gigantic tophat? Just saying.

Thanks for the greetings! Been at Skyscrapercity for years (used other ID before) but didn't have time to pass by in the last months. After I took this pics I had to post them here.

First point: new official height:

398m
http://www.tokyo-skytree.jp/

2nd point: crane jump

I actually haven't seen pictures from the weekly schedule on the blogs, although I haven't been checking them as regular as I do at home. But the blog that always post it didn't do it until now. It's very probable that they start this week or next week even though I think the pod has a bigger priority right now.

3rd point: 05/31 blog update:

more steel for the pod

Now the tower is well spotted from Mt. Takao. It's located 50 km away from the tower, and also 35 m shorter.

I find this tower vary strange in some way. First you look at the design and it looks rather simple, and one may even say boring, but in the Tokyo skyline, even unfinished, it looks incredibly great. I think that looks even better than guangzhou tower

I agree, this tower is better than the Guangzhou tower.
It also looks so much better than the CN Tower (even though that hurts to say that).
