I believe the basic structure of the first pod is just about complete, am I correct?
It looks fabulous, the speed at which they're working is impressive.

Most likely not. Look at the last picture posted by Momo. The place where pod will be has thiner core, so I assume they still have to install one or two layers of steel.

By looking on the renders then there will most likely be another level of angled walls, and then a cylindrical level that is just a bit larger than the core structure...

Looks great Momo!!

What the heck is that golden blob on the picture? I know it's off topic, but it just looks so peculiar to me

Great pictures Momo. Can you please tell me from which buildings you shot those pics?

Yesterdays pics where shot from the Bunkyo Civic Center right next to Tokyo Dome City. Just take the lift to the 25th floor and you have a free look over 3/4 of the city, for the other part you have to get into a restaurant.

Today's pictures

First one is from Haneda airport, today it was already more hazy then yesterday so it's not as clear as I would have liked it to be. The picture was also pretty hard to take since the viewing decks have these fences with holes in them for taking pictures. But if you want to take a picture from an angle it's pretty hard because the fence is just in the way. And then you have to click at the exact right moment, this one was just a bit too early but it was the clearest and the straightest out of my couple of tries.

The others are from Ueno Zoo and just outside Ueno station.

This Sunday I will go for the last time to the Sky Tree to take pictures close-by before I go back home again.

Thank you very much for the information Momo.
At first I thought only the last picture was shot from next to Tokyo Dome City, but now that you mentioned it I see the others have the same perspective just zoomed in very much. ^ ^

And of course also thanks for the new pictures.
Never been to Ueno zoo yet, maybe I shall do this when I come to Tokyo next time. Is it worth it?
