Is it still under planned budget?

I haven't been paying too much attention to the money side of the project, but I don't see any recent news posting about the budget on the Sky Tree's livedoor BBS thread.

It just says that at the moment it is the 9th highest building in the world. Some comments about its structure, the all-glass observatory , the view from the 2nd pod will be a new look at Tokyo. It also shows us the progress by the season (Summer, Spring, Winter..) Its very good isn't it?

great update , its just amazing how close they let the tower grow before they jack up the cranes , is there any reason for this ?

Yes, the cranes won't be jacked up again, they will be repositioned on the roof of the 1st pod and they will be joined by a 4th crane. This also means that the tower remains 398m high until this operation will be complete and that will be in July. Then the tower can start to grow again somewhere in that month and that should give it enough time to hit the August height target of 440m.

the more this one progress the more i like it, and the last bunch of shots definately shows that the design of this tower absolutely fits to Tokyo. Well designed and very well executed tv-tower. Allthough its sheer height, the design of this tower seems to try to cowork with its context rather than to scream after attention. IMO we will see this tower in many many many upcoming books about architecture. Congrats Tokyo.

Welcome rainy season

In a way, it might be a good thing to have the clouds hide it away for a few days and then.. an amazing change ?!

Great updates! Are they working on final floor of first pod? Or they still need to add one more floor for first pod to top out?
