This thing sure looks lonely being there by itself. I say Tokyo build some supertalls around that area

how does the antenna rise if the crane doesnt reach the top, i mean how do the new sections reach the top and get into place????
They're not adding new sections to the top of the spire. It's already assembled inside of the tower itself and is being jacked up slowly so that the workers can attach the antenna assemblies to each section as it rises.

I wonder if they are going to lower the antenna to attach the missing piece once it arrives.

I was wondering about how they're going to do that myself but I don't they they would lower the whole assembly because after all of the antenna assembly has been attached I doubt if it would even fit back into the space within the tower. I'm sure they'll come up with some very clever way of doing it but the higher up it goes the more difficult it's going to be.

I don't think they will lower the tower with the lower antennas already attached, it simply won't fit back into the core. That makes this question actually the same as "How are they going to replace antennas when they happen to break down after the tower is completed?".

They must have some system installed that makes it possible to lift pieces up to the absolute top. We will see soon enough when the missing antennas are installed, probably after the whole spire completed.

I doubt that the spire rise again until they get the missing antennas in place, just because it's a too big of a job to manually put in those large antenna sections without a crane to lift them up.
Replacing a single antenna is a much simpler task than installing a 8-10 meter section of antennas.

We'll see soon enough...

It's most likely Japanese Plum. It's indeed too early for the Sakura, especially with the cold weather recently.
