It looks better at night. It's a little too hefty for a tower

I´ll add the non-zoomed pic for better comprehension. How many kilometers to Sky Tree?

Tokyo is just to big.
I like big cities but 35 million+ is to much.
Do you people who live in Tokyo agree or do
you like it.

Shit. This thing is so beautiful especially at night with those lightings. If I were to go to Tokyo, I would sit by the riverside and stare at this beautiful thing until I fall asleep.

I went to the amazing city of Tokyo summer of 2011! We saw the tokyo sky tree from afar but newer went up! But the old tower, we saw and entered! Check out our photos from Tokyo here on my asia blog:

Any place is as big as you can see - Tokyo is dense, and crowded in many places... either you like that (I do!) or you don't... but the wider sense of size comes from your sense of how far you have to go to 'get out' - big, modern cities distort that sense because in fact with good public transport (of your preferred mode of transport) getting out is easy. Still, cities like London and Tokyo take time to get out of, even on rail (and that's usually the easiest way - let the train take the strain )

My wife comes from the north of Tokyo (Kita-ku) and she says she grew tired of the 'density' of Tokyo but she has never expressed any dislike of its size, indeed she loves city life. That said, our current life in a small(ish) English town is a world apart from Tokyo. Make of that little anecdote what you will.

Anyway, I don't think size matters unless you have some need to get around it all. Perhaps being a salesman or delivery guy in Tokyo sucks...? OTOH that's a hell of an economy on your doorstep
