When will be tower cranes installed? Is there any idea, what of tower cranes will be used at this tower construction? I hope there will be IHI 160t and JCC-1500 cranes.

INCREDIBLE!

That new white section on top appeared almost overnight!!!

That's how developments must work during crisis, beign agressive and assertive.

You know, now with all this concrete party that is around for a couple of decades and went into frenzy the last years, seeing an 100% steel structure rising is a nice change.

It's still in Tokyo, you know. Actually, Tokyo is cool like that, it has several areas with high-rises, kind of like it has several downtowns or something. Man, Tokyo is the best city on earth, I swear. Does need a few more supertalls though. I mean, what city doesn't? :p

The tower is right next to Asakusa, the historical center, and 5 km away from Tokyo Station. 5 km is equal to the distance between Tokyo and Shinjuku. It is not at all far from the CBD compared to once the next probable candidate for the location, which is 26 km away from Tokyo.

Most people actually complain about the location in that they can't see it from the city, not in that they can't look down on the city from the tower. When the supertall construction was announced, they expected it to be built in the middle of the CBD and put the scattered clusters together into one massive skyline. However, all we are getting is another isolated tower.

It will be a great experience to see the whole city from this particular angle. The view will be completely defferent from what we can get from Tokyo Tower or the City Hall.

Wow, your diagram really throws into relief just how huge that tower is going to be on the site. The current construction looks big already, but is only a tiny part of the whole tower
