I like it - very sleek - but it totally dominates the cityscape.

onmyoji's right, its a TOWER, not a building.

Not to offend anyone, but communication towers are apparently easier to build then normal buildings, so its not as amazing as it should be if it were a building, but then again, i myself love towers as well.

I'm just worried about earthquake issues. The main reason why Japan doesnt have many buildings over 300 meters is due to earthquakes as most of us may know.

Personally, I cant wait till this building is completed though, the view would be magnificent!

Sorry, I don't like it. It looks too much like an engineering work, not artistic and not elegant.

I agree. Improvement over the original, but not nearly so poetic as the Guangzhou.

Yes, I agree with someone of you...the tower is ok but not beautifull. In any case I think the Tower is a good news for tokyo skyline. We are talking about a 610 meter tower. It s true, we are not talking about building but I want to underline how less are the cities with such a tall tower! I m sure soon we ll have some other good news for Tokyo skyline...I just read that there is a plan to build the second Roppongi hills tower...

Burj Dubai is not a tower. It is considered as building...

omg lol since some people don't understand the difference between towers and buildings...

It IS going to be the tallest TOWER in the world.

Burj Dubai is a building, not a tower.

Think this way, CN Tower is a communication tower right?

Think of those needle looking free-standing towers. Those are towers, not bulidings.

It's ok there are lots of people always have misconception between towers and skyscrapers. IMO I love this tower a lot better than CN tower but I love Eiffel tower more. This must be a great work of engineering since Japan always experienced earthquakes.

It will be a very striking skyline feature.
