This guy should move to somewhere else like Dandong to be far away and just buy another house like 6 story house or 7 story house.

As for '63 football fields' is it USA football (egg game) or English football (Soccer) the 'Soccer' field is much larger.
American football (Rugby) field is quite big as well, similiar size as soccer. Egg game??

I doubt it is 63 fields big. But if it is, I guess they can build at least a dozen supertalls there

I think site prep is more appropriate than under construction

You have to think in Chinese terms tho. For what it's worth he got way more than what his building deserved. The main basis for that amount was punitive and examplary, I believe, coz this is the first case testing the new law from the central gov't. In simpler terms it was the gov't first dabble into property rights.

Also, in terms of standard of living, that amount would equal to quite a comfortable rest of his life, even if he moves to nearby HK. Good for him tho I hope he's a prudent investor.

i think it is till an underpaid amount.i inherited a 750 sq.mtr plot of land (similar in size to this one) in india from my grandfather, and i got it evaluated and found out the current market price is US $4.1 million.so this being in the CBD should have been more.

11.10

Pictures was taken on Nov 10 on my Shenzhen trip, the first two pics were taken on the observation deck of Shun Hing building. In the first pic, you can see the 6-floor bldg has been torn down and the construction has started sorry for the pic quality.

Kingkey construction site

Shennan Road and Seg bldg.

Shennan road, morning

I can't believe they actually tore down that six story building. It looked so nice with that garden on top.
