Shun Hing Square doesn't look lonely anymore~

The KKmall has opened already? I am going back to Shenzhen for Christmas will check it out then~

From the pictures above, it seems to have difficulties when competing with well-run malls like MIXC and Holiday Plaza in Shenzhen though...good to know it has IMAX

Went to the mall last weekend to check it out, only about half of the mall was open, the rest of the shops are still under renovation. Several observations from my visit: 1) no way in direct competition with MIXC, most of the shops are upper middle to middle classes. 2) diffcult to access, need to walk more than 5 minutes to the subway and it is "far" from Shennan road. 3) beautiful interior, very elegant, but layout not as good as MIXC

Good job there! Shenzhen is building it's own image and is growing out of the Hong Kong shadow! With Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou in one urban area, the pearl river delta is becoming the most impressive urban area in the world I think. Pearl city, full of metropolises and supertalls.

There are 50 million people in this area, making it one of the largest megacities in the world.

Yes. In the future, the two most impressive urban areas of the world will be Shanghai and this one. Let's see what area will become the number 1 urban agglomeration of the world in terms of skyscrapers.

I can't wait to see them build the observation pod at the top. That should be interesting.

what for they installed the third crane these days ? are they gonna remove the previous two cranes and leave just the last one while the construction will reach the last floors ? i'm very curious how they will remove the cranes when the construction will be finished, especially the last one, the first and second one can be removed with the help of the last one but how about that one ? will they use some sky-lift helicopter ? i can't see any other way to do that.
also, could someone pls tell us what are the exact model those cranes ? i only know that they are Favelle-Favco but which ones ? i've saw the hook close to ground and is huuuuuggeee. the cable itself must weight at least 10 tons from the tip of the boom till ground.

Yes, I too believe that is the best part about this building. Next couple of months will be fun to watch.
