Apparently so! Such a shame those awful boxes at Heron Quays are being covered up by these great new skyscrapers lol

Current Canary Wharf skyline:

This is looking west, so Pan Peninsula will appear left of the picture. (south). The under-construction tower with the diagonal roof, to the right, is Ontario Tower (105m).

Yep, I took it yesterday along with all the others. It was a beautiful day for photos, so I decided to extend my trip past Canary Wharf to the Excel Centre and London City Airport, to take photos there.

... Leona will one day rule the world Good looks, great voice, modest... what more could people want!

Great comments

I just wanted to say that the content of this thread is quite engaging and all of the praise and detailed photography of the construction status has been appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Best Regards

With London building and proposing so many great modern scrapers, there has to be 1 or 2 duds - These are definitely those 2.

Anyway, a lot of nice angles of CW througout - Cheers.

Couple of pics by DarJoLe. It's beginning to make an impression on the skyline now -

Here's some construction updates from yesterday morning. The cladding looks quite classy in person.

That way, things such as kitchens and bathrooms can be fitted in early. If they waited for the whole building to be completed before starting the cladding, it would take longer.
