So essentially 3 new franchises will replace current Central Trains, Silverlink, Virgin Cross Country and Midland Mainline.

A good re-organisation. Let's hope Central Trains don't have yet another franchise extension!

I didnt want the Midland Mainline franchise to be replaced.

I didn't either really, but as long as they don't start screwing around with my train from london to Sheffield it'll be OK.
