I hate malls, but this is a mall I could enjoy. Very impressive. This is where impressive architecture belongs, where everyone can enjoy it and not just a select few. This and the Moscow metro have to be two of my favorite public places.

How many malls outside the Philippines have you been to? Thats such an ignorant statement thats based purely on blind patriotism
Ive been to some of the best malls in the Philippines (Greenbelt, Shangrila, Powerplant, Mall of Asia, Terraces) and they are not that special compared to say Siam Paragon in Bangkok, ION and Marina Bay shoppes in Singapore among others..dont be ignorant and blind, eve by just looking at this thread you'd know that Philippine malls are not as good as we think they are

Funny that your standards for beautiful malls are limited to the ASEAN Region. FYI, I have been to A LOT of malls in the world, and Philippine Malls are some of the most beautiful, not only in SEA but in the world.

I have been to Siam Paragon, ION and Marina Bay Shoppes. They are indeed beautiful, but they, unlike many Philippine Malls have little to no regard for local architecture or green aesthetics.

Greenbelt 3, 4, and 5, the Terraces in Cebu and the Fort Strip beautifully incorporated green elements to their respective designs. I personally believe that Greenbelt 3 is the most beautiful mall in the world for its wonderful utilization of the space, its architecture, its location, and the feeling that you're in a park. Can you say the same for the three (3) malls you mentioned?

Other beautiful malls in the Philippines include Powerplant Mall for its sleek, simple and classy design, the MOA and the SM North EDSA for proving that a mega-mall does not have to be tacky.

It cannot be denied that "what's beautiful" is subjective. Those Italian malls are beautiful for its exquisite architectural elements. That Turkish Mall is beautiful for its modern and sleek architecture. We have different standards of beauty.

While I do not claim that ALL Philippine Malls are beautiful, berating a Filipino for believing that Philippine Malls are the most beautiful in the world is uncalled for and, well, downright ignorant.
