Martin Neighbourhood, Rosario, Argentina - Nice skyline

Hi! In case you never heard of Rosario, it's a city of aprox. 1.000.000 inhabitants that (including me) claim it's the second after Buenos Aires, of which is located 300 km north, on the Paraná river.

Martin neighbourhood is a traditional residential area of the city near downtown. This pics show just this part of the city, the skyline is much longer.

Enjoy!

This is Aqualina Tower's construction site. It will be 140m tall and the highest in Argentina outside Buenos Aires. More info: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=342927

You never stop surprising me, namreg20. Cómo te llamás?? es algo complicado tener que acordarse siempre de namreg20, y muy impersonal.

I love this neighborhood. It's amazing. I live a few blocks from those pictures, on the corner of Cordoba and Buenos Aires. I wouldn't live in any other place of the world!

I think tthe architecture of Rosario is unique. The preservation of our history is also unique in Argentina. Cities such as Córdoba or Buenos Aires don't have our level of preservation of the architecture. We seem more european in that point of view.

The art is other characteristic of Rosario. We are certainly the most artistic city of Argentina. You can see it in our Museo Urbano de la Ciudad (City Urban Museum). Besides this, we have a lot of museums with excelent pieces of art and activities. The best Contemporary Argentinian Art Museum and the second best museum of fine arts.

This is Plaza de la Confederación. The painting on the wall represents the worldly famous Ernesto "Che" Guevara. He was born in Rosario (a few blocks from my home, I must say)

This are pictures from the Urban Museum. I've just taken theese, but there are a lot of them. All paintings from the Castagnino Fine Arts Museum.

Qué lindo si decoráramos muchos edificios de nuestras ciudades con pinturas tan bellas como las que se observa en esas fotos.
Por lo visto el barrio Martín vendría a ser como el Recoleta rosarino... Corríjanme si me equivoco.
Hermoso Rosario...

These photos look self-taken, so I will move them over to the Urban Showcase.
