I would be interested in what the entrance of Mercury Tower looks like, or in general the streetlevel perspective. Could anyone post pictures of that please? Thanks.

Thank you!

Actually that looks better than the rest of the tower. Awesome 70s sci fi feeling to it.

I love that base, the colour is just surreal. And the diagonal windows contrasting with the vertical lines is superb.

Hard to believe there will be five supertalls in this area soon. I don't think any other European city will see this many tall buildings in the next few decades.

I know London, Paris, Frankfurt am Main, and Istanbul all have plans for supertalls, but Moscow will definetly have more supertalls than them.

Too bad Moscow is considered to be in Asia. If you don't believe me then look it up. The only part of Russia that is actually in Europe is the small piece of land near Latvia and Estonia.

Actually, I believe most consider the Ural Mountains as the boundary between Europe and Asia. Moscow, being west of these mountains, would be still in the European portion of Russia.

Moscow is as much a part of Asia as Khazakhstan is a part of Europe.

No need to bash my comment ultEmate. Now I am going to have to report every comment after mine including mine. Sorry Russia is a part of two different continents. Can't say that of any other country. Unless you want to say I'm wrong about that too.

I've have also requested that both you and ThatOneGuy be banned from SSC for your inappropriate and rude comments.

Um, I hate to break it to you, but there is even a city that spans two continents. Istanbul. Please stop making such declarations if you aren't sure of the facts behind them.

Oh, and I am also a proud product of an American public school.

I like the diagonal windows too but wish they had gone clear or a shaded clear color.

I wasn't including you in my request to be banned but now you are included. Better watch what you say or else you won't have the option to even say anything anymore.

If I were to get banned for simply adding facts to this conversation, so be it. Although, I perhaps more because we are way off topic now.

You are wrong.
Turkey is one examples of countries on two continents.
And, Europe and Asia divide are more artifical than geographical. Ural mountains are smaller than Mid-west mountains in US. That are one continent Euro-asia. Historically, people of Asia and Europe have many common roots. Many nations are go east or west through that massive land. Like Huns, people from Asia who created big European migration of peoples. Or Russian conquer the Siberia and Alaska from Europe.
Russians are original European peoples: East Slavs, Vikings and Finns peoples. Core of Russian state are Novgorod oblast(area) in north/north-west part of European Russia, and thats are most blondes peoples on the world(with Balts and Finns peoples).

Quote:
European Russia (also Western Russia or Central Russia) refers to the Western areas of Russia that lie within Europe, comprising roughly 3,960,000 square kilometres (1,528,560 mi²), larger in area than India, and spanning across 40% of Europe. Its Eastern border is defined by the Ural Mountains and in the South it is defined by the border with Kazakhstan. This area includes Moscow and St. Petersburg, the two largest cities of Russia.

Roughly 78% of the entire Russian population (about 110,000,000 people out of an approximate total Russian population of 141,000,000) lives in European Russia, at an average of 27 persons per km² (10.5 per mi²). However, 75% of Russia's territory lies within Asia and accommodates only 22% of its population at 2.5 persons per km² (0.95 per mi²).

The term "European Russia" was used in the Russian Empire to refer to traditional East Slavic territories under Russian control, including what is now Belarus and most of Ukraine (Dnieper Ukraine).
Half of all US is only European part of Russia. Russia is enormous country
Try to learn about Russia.
It is one of the most interesting history / geography of the world. A country that for over 1000 years of its existence has never been entirely conquered although largets army of the world try to do that.
