Great skyscraper, I think they have some chances to finish at least the structure in 2011, they have 21 months, 90 weeks from today, if they are able to build at least 1 floor per week this beauty can be topped before the end of 2011 !!!!

thanks for the photo updates!!!

Hey you can't really blame them for their harsh winters, economic downturn, and huge surface area it has for the foundation and ground floors.

Definitely the best european project right now (with Shard ), this is a gorgeous design and the golden cladding's gonna look amazing...I can't wait for Mercury to be done.

yep, you can put it this way. There is certainly a fan club here of one of the tallest building in Europe currently U/C taking into account the uncertainty of the Federation Tower.

Well, I saw some drawings about this topic a few days ago. It seems like, it`s not possible to put the spire into it`s place with our tower crane. Designers are working on a solution, which is, reducing the height of spire about 15 meters and installing some additional truss into the tower crane`s structure. So the crane may have some enough clearance to put the spire into it`s place. If everybody agree on this solution, we`ll do like that. It only effects the length of the spire, no change in the floors or other stuff, but total height will be 365 meters, not 380 any more... (((((

Sad to hear about it
may be you can use a helicopter to lift up the spire? or is it too heavy?

Well, additional 15 meters won't make any sense.
